We should be! After all, we've been transferring direct to hard drive for over 4 years! So why not offer insurance for clients to give them time to become comfortable with tapeless procedures?

Buying time

 Subscribe for as little as six months at just $20 per 500 GB hard drive and give yourself some time - time to back-up locally, time to develop your own tapeless workflow, and time to complete a project with at least one less worry.

Stipulations

  • We will accept only drives from three reliable manufacturers: Western Digital, Seagate or Hitachi. No exceptions.

  • Drives must be brand new and drop shipped from dealer;  the drives  cannot be “open box” (re-stocked/refurbished drives).

  • We need the shipping memo or invoice from the dealer as we will take care of return to manufacturer for failed drives.

  • Brand new drives may also be purchased through Bonolabs as part of your order.

  • The insurance must be purchased before your drive ships.

  • Designed primarily for short-term back-up, the insurance can be renewed for 6-month increments.

  • You may cancel your insurance at any time however no refunds or prorated refunds will be made. Therefore, the best time to cancel would be as your 6-month renewal approaches.

What you pay:

  • $20 per 500GB drive for a six-month period. 

  • Notification will be sent one week before your premium will expire. If you wish to continue the insurance, you do not need to do anything (unless you need to update your credit card information).

  • The insurance will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of purchase of the premium.

What is covered:

This coverage is ONLY for files that were created here at Bonolabs and sent out on approved brand new hard drives.  Bonolabs will backup your files to one of our hard drives. If the client experiences drive failure or loss of files, the client sends the drive back to Bonolabs.  For faulty drives, Bonolabs will obtain the replacement drive from the manufacturer, re-load the files and send the drive with your files back to you.  If your drive was lost or stolen, you may send a brand-new drive (see stipulations above) or purchase one through Bonolabs. We will load the files on your new drive and send the drive back to you.
