NTFS File System Survey

In February 2004 our technical initiatives division Bonolabs introduced a new and innovative way for clients to receive their telecine transfers called the tapeless option, which initially offered ready-to-edit high definition 10-bit MAC compatible QuickTime uncompressed files direct to hard drive.  Recently, the standard definition “film to file” telecine transfers direct to hard drive option was added. This MAC QuickTime tapeless service has been well received by our clients; however, based on recent inquiries, there seems to be great interest among PC users to acquire the files in NTFS file system. This page will help us determine just how much interest is out there and when we might introduce the new system format. This format will be introduced in both high definition and standard definition just as our MAC formats are now. We’ll be using the Blackmagic codecs since they simply work and are well accepted in the industry. If this potential new service is of interest, please provide us with your basic system and application information and enter comments and/or suggestions to help us determine how and when this new service might be introduced.
